Review Cards’ Contactless Smart Review products utilize Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which allows smartphones to receive contactless information, such as a link to your Google Profile. Customers simply hover their phone over the card, stand or table tent, and they can leave you a review within seconds.
What if a customer’s phone doesn’t have NFC enabled?
Most modern smartphones have NFC capability, and it’s easy to turn on (simply search for “NFC” in the phone’s settings). However, for those without NFC, the cproductss also feature a QR Code that can be scanned using the camera on a phone or tablet. Both methods will direct customers to the review page of your Google or Tripadvisor profile.
Do I need to provide any code or links for the cards to work?
No, you don’t need to provide any code or links. We’ll create the links and program your products for you. However, providing the exact name of your business as it appears on your Google or Tripadvisor profile is helpful to ensure accuracy.
What if a customer doesn’t have a Google account on their phone?
With 1.8 billion Google accounts worldwide, the vast majority of people are automatically logged in on their devices. For those who aren’t, there are still plenty of potential reviewers available.
What happens if I change my Google Business Profile?
If you change your Google Business Profile, simply let us know the new address and your card number, and we’ll reprogram your Smart Review Card from our dashboard at no extra cost.
How close does the phone need to be to the product for NFC to work?
For best results, hover the centre of the phone directly over the card stand or table tent, as close as possible. For iPhones, hover the camera cluster over the card.
How long will the Review Cards’ Contactless Smart Review products continue to work?
